Boy crushed under train in Rajshahi

A boy was crushed to death by a train in Bahrampur area in Rajshahi city on Sunday evening. The deceased was identified as Amith Hasan, 14, son of Ibrahim of Bahrampur. Witnesses said the Rajshahi-bound commuter rain from Chainawabganj hit Amith while he was walking on rail tracks listening songs with headphones in his ears at about 7:30pm, leaving him dead on the spot. The two legs and right hand of Amith were severed from his body, said witnesses. Officer-in-charge of Rajpara Police Station Khan Mohammad Erfan said on information, police recovered the body and handed over it to the victim’s family members. An unnatural death case was filed, according to UNB.
