Boy rescued after abduction in city

A teenage boy, who was abducted by a gang in the city's Bangshal area on Thursday, was rescued by members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) on Saturday morning. The Rab members also arrested eight suspected abductors by conducting simultaneous drives in other parts of the city. The rescued teenage boy was identified as Md Imran Hossain, 18, son of Md Aslam of 13/1 Gulam Mostafa Lane of Becharam Dewri in the city's Bangshal area. — UN
