Boycott on at RU sociology dept

Teachers and students at Rajshahi University's Sociology department have been staying away from classes and tests for the last one week protesting the murder of Prof AKM Shafiul Islam. They are skipping classes and examinations since last Sunday (November 16), a day after Prof Shafiul Islam was killed. Unknown assailants tsabbed the Sociology teacher to death by near the RU campus on last Saturday (Nov 15). The agitating teachers and students, demanding arrests and punishment of the perpetrators of the grisly murder, declared on Friday that they will be boycotting classes and exams for one more week if the culprits are not nabbed by that time, campus sources said, according to a news agency.
