BPC earns Tk220m in operating profit during FY '25

Continuing its trend of success, Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation (BPC) has made an operating profit of approximately Tk 220 million in the 2024-2025 fiscal year.
The information was disclosed during the organisation's 56th Commercial Conference held at the Parjatan Bhaban in Agargaon recently, says a press release.
The daylong conference was attended by managers of all commercial units, unit managers, relevant officials, and high-ranking representatives from the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism.
The primary objectives of the conference were to review the overall performance of BPC's commercial units, determine future strategies and targets for revenue growth, identify existing challenges with practical solutions, and motivate employees by recognising the performance of unit managers and staff.
Secretary of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism Nasrin Jahan, who was present as the chief guest, inaugurated the event. The closing ceremony featured Sheikh Bashir Uddin, Adviser of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, as the chief guest. The conference was presided over by Sayema Shahin Sultana, Chairman of BPC.
At the beginning of the conference, Jamil Ahmed, Director (Commercial), made the overall activities of the organisation for the past fiscal year through a PowerPoint presentation. During the session, various recommendations and opinions were shared regarding strategies to boost revenue by further strengthening the organisation's commercial operations.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Sheikh Bashir Uddin emphasized that everyone's perspective must change to ensure the financial growth and improvement of service quality at Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation. He remarked that the organisation must be moved forward through hard work and a positive mindset.
