BPC\\\'s earning falls

The profit margin of hotels, motels and restaurants under the Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation (BPC) has dropped sharply since 2009-2010 fiscal year as the expenditure is rising against the earning. Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Rashed Khan Menon said this in Parliament on Saturday while responding to a starred tabled question from Khandaker Azizul Huq Arju (Pabna-2). He said that there are currently 22 hotels, motels and restaurants across the country under the BPC. The earning of these entities in 2009-2010 fiscal year was Tk226.7million (Tk22,67,81000), according to a news agency.
