BR, BRTC to operate special trains, buses during Eid

Bangladesh Railway (BR) will operate seven pairs of trains, while Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation (BRTC) 50 additional buses everyday to facilitate the journey of homebound passengers during Eid-ul-Fitr. Besides, BR will operate a pair of fully air-conditioned trains on the Dhaka-Chittagong route everyday on the occasion. The decisions were taken Saturday at a meeting on safe journey of bus and train passengers, proper sale of tickets and security, and other measures taken ahead of Eid. The RRD secretary gave directives to theofficials to take steps so that no passenger could travel without ticket and seats for the ticket holders are ensured . — UNB
