BR to run spl trains for RMG workers

The Bangladesh Railway Authority (BR) will operate special trains for garment workers to help them go to their ancestral village homes for celebrating the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha.
"We (BR authority) will operate special trains for garment workers on the occasion of the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha," Railways Minister Nurul Islam Sujan told the media after launching an event for receiving special trolleys for passengers at the Kamalapur Railway Station in the capital on Saturday.
Islami Bank Bangladesh Ltd (IBBL) handed over 50 trolleys imported from China.
The minister said that the passengers would be able to smoothly carry their luggage by using the trolleys.
He said that tickets for the special trains could be obtained from Joydevpur Railway Station in Gazipur.
He said that the BR authority would take action if any complaints were there from passengers about online ticketing.
Managing Director of IBBL Monirul Moula, Director General of BR Direndranath Majumder and Executive Manager of IBBL Mizanur Rahman Bhuiyan were present, among others, at the event.
