BRAC Bank and MasterCard announce strategic alliance

BRAC Bank and MasterCard have jointly announced the formation of a strategic alliance to launch BRAC Bank MasterCard branded cards.
Mr. A. E. A. Muhaimen, Managing Director & CEO of BRAC Bank Limited and Mr. Vikas Varma, Vice President, South Asia, MasterCard Worldwide jointly announced the strategic alliance on behalf of their respective organizations in a programme Monday.
This alliance will facilitate a wide range of products and services toward BRAC Bank customers to make their lifestyle much easier in terms of using plastic money locally and globally. BRAC Bank will issue MasterCard, which will be accepted by the millions of merchants operating on the MasterCard's global merchant network.
This time BRAC Bank is going to introduce EMV compliant MasterCard Cards to ensure the highest level of security for avoiding any kind of fraudulent risk. In addition to the security this will also provide instant discount on merchant point, hotel booking, reward point on usage and many more attractive features for its customers'
On this occasion, Mr. A. E. A. Muhaimen said, "We are happy to announce this Strategic Alliance with MasterCard which will allow us to offer more choices along with new features and services to our valued customers".
