BRAC Bank arranges Tk 620m syndicated loan for textile mills

BRAC Bank Limited has recently arranged a syndicated term loan worth Tk 620 million for Graphics Textiles Limited (GTL).
The loan will be utilised to set up a knit composite textiles factory at Dhamrai.
BRAC Bank is the lead arranger and agent bank, and AB Bank Limited is the co-arranger of the syndicated loan.
Other participating banks of the syndication are Dhaka Bank Limited (DBL), Pubali Bank Limited (PBL) and Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited (SJIBL).
BRAC Bank Managing Director and CEO Imran Rahman, AB Bank President and MD Kaiser A Chowdhury, SJIBL Managing Director (CC) Mohammad Ali, Pubali Bank Managing Director Helal Ahmed Chowdhury, DBL Deputy Managing Director Mohammad Abu Musa and Graphics Textiles Limited MD Najib Malek Chowdhury signed the syndicated loan agreement on behalf of their respective organisations at a city hotel recently.
BRAC Bank Deputy Managing Director Kaiser Tamiz Amina and its Head of Corporate Banking Khwaja Shahriar along with high officials from all concerned organisations were also present at the signing ceremony.
