BRAC Bank, Bank Asia sign money transfer deal

BRAC Bank Limited and Bank Asia Limited will use El Dorado remittance and payment system for inter-bank money transfer between them.
An agreement in this connection was signed between the banks in the city recently.
BRAC Bank Managing Director-cum-CEO AEA Muhaimen and Bank Asia President-cum-Managing Director Syed Anisul Huq signed the agreement on behalf of the respective banks.
El Dorado will enable customers to transfer money electronically within Bangladesh in the quickest possible way.
The money transfer system is being developed under the Remittances and Payments Challenges Fund (RPCF) jointly sponsored by DFID, UK and the Bangladesh Bank.
BRAC Bank Deputy Managing Director-cum-COO Kaiser Tamiz Amin, Deputy Managing Director-cum-Head of Operations Erfanuddin Ahmed and Bank Asia Senior Executive Vice President Irteza Reza Chowdhury were also present at the signing ceremony.
