BRAC Bank celebrates Int'l Women's Day

BRAC Bank Limited has celebrated International Women's Day in the city.
Marking the day, a get together and a discussion session was organised at the bank's head office recently, said a press release.
Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of BRAC Bank AEA Muhaimen inaugurated the session, while Head of Human Resources Tahniyat Ahmed Karim moderated the function.
The event was celebrated with the participation of the bank's female employees and other officials.
Among others, former adviser of the caretaker government Rokia Afzal Rahman, Sculptor Ferdousi Priyabhashini, Architect Luva Nahid Choudhury, Human Rights and Legal Adviser Faustina Pereira, Economist Fahmida Khatun, Entrepreneur Kaniz Almas Khan and Singer Fahmida Nabi were present at the get-together.
They have shared their experiences and challenges of their lives to enrich and inspire the female employees of the bank in their personal and professional spheres.
Among others, Deputy Managing Director of the bank Syed Mahbubur Rahman, Company Secretary and Head of Legal, Regulatory and Internal Control Rais Uddin Ahmad, Head of Retail Banking Firoz Ahmed Khan, Head of Operations Shah Alam Bhuiyan and Acting Head of Corporate Affairs Abedur Rahman Sikder were present on the occasion, the release added.
