BRAC Bank holds workshop for professional women

BRAC Bank Limited has sponsored a workshop on 'Emotional Intelligence for Professional Women' in the city recently.
Professional and Occupational Women's Association for Empowerment and Rights (POWAER) in association with BDJOBS.COM and JCI Bangladesh, Dhaka Central organised the workshop, said a press release.
The objective of the workshop was to help professional women to be more confident in dealing with professional environment, being aware of their rights at the workplace.
Portfolio Manager of the Women Entrepreneur Cell (WEC) of SME Banking Division of the Bank Wahida Anjoom delivered the address of welcome, while Head of Human Resources of the Bank Tahniyat Ahmed Karim conveyed the vote of thanks to all the participants at the concluding session.
Convener of POWAER Parveen Sultana Huda conducted the workshop session.
Manager and Theme Leader-SVAW, Women Rights and Gender Equality of ActionAid International Samia Ahmed represented the NGO sector, while Chief Executive Officer of Dream Merchants Bitopi Das represented the corporate sector and JCI Bangladesh, and Counsellor of Eurokids School Huma Khan the education sector, the release added.
