Astha customers can now transfer a maximum of 1 lakh taka to multiple mobile wallet accounts (bKash, Rocket, TAP, OK Wallet, iPay and Cashbaba) daily. On the other hand, they can send a maximum 50,000 taka from any mobile wallet to a BRAC Bank account.
Mobile balance recharge has 15,000 taka, and Astha QR Code-based 'scan and pay' for merchant payment has a Tk 0.5 million daily limit.
The customers can enjoy all of the above benefits without needing to pay any charge except wallet transfers from credit cards.
Functionally rich, intuitive, easy to use, safe and secure, the mobile app Astha enables customers to do banking transactions with just a few clicks. Astha is comprised of a broad spectrum of digital services and engagement tools, ensuring delightful customer experience, higher adoption rates and market impact.
The customers can choose from options of NPSB, BEFTN, and RTGS while transferring funds to other banks conveniently without any charge. With NPSB and RTGS options, customers can instantly transfer funds to any bank in Bangladesh.
However, only NPSB transfers can be done 24/7, irrespective of weekdays or weekends/holidays. This real-time NPSB transfer facility benefits the Retail and SME (sole proprietorship) customers meeting day-to-day banking and business requirements. In contrast, RTGS is only functional for limited hours in weekdays only. Moreover, BEFTN transactions can be initiated anytime, but funds become available in the destination account on the following working day.
