BRAC Bank provides scholarships to DU students

BRAC Bank Limited has provided scholarships to the meritorious students of Dhaka University's Business Studies Faculty recently, according to a statement.
As part of the corporate social responsibility, the scholarships have been awarded to 80 talented students of the faculty.
Deputy Managing Director & CRO of BRAC Bank Limited Chowdhury Akhtar Asif handed over the cheques of the scholarship to Dhaka University's Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman at a ceremony held at the Business Studies Faculty.
Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank Abu Hena Mohd. Razee Hassan, Dean of Business Studies Faculty Prof. Shibli Rubayat-Ul-Islam, Head of Communications of BRAC Bank Zara Jabeen Mahbub and other senior officials were also present.
BRAC Bank launched this education scholarship in 2017 by providing scholarships to 40 students.
This year the scholarships have been given to 80 students doubling the previous year's beneficiary number.
