BRAC holds workshop on 'Shufola' seed

BRAC Seed Enterprise organised a workshop on 'Shufola' seed for its dealers and distributors from across the country at the BRAC Centre Inn in the city Saturday.
The necessity to produce and distribute hybrid seeds among the flood-affected farmers for better yield after the devastating flood was highlighted in the workshop.
BRAC Deputy Executive Director Aminul Alam presided over the programme, while Executive Director Mahbub Hossain and Food and Agriculture Ministry Director General (Seed Wing) Anwarul Faruk were present on the occasion as the chief guest and the special guest respectively.
BRRI Director (Research) Abdus Salam was also present on the occasion.
