BRAC observes 10-yr advocacy programme

BRAC, a leading non-government organisation (NGO), observed its 10-year 'Advocacy for Social Change' programme at its auditorium in the city Sunday.
Former advisers to the Caretaker Government Abdul Muyeed Chowdhury and Rasheda K Chowdhury, former PSC chairman Dr Shahadat Hossain, BRAC Executive Director Dr Mahbub Hossain, AP Bureau Chief Farid Hossain and Planning Commission member Prof Shamsul Alam attended the programme.
Director of Gender, Justice and Diversity and Advocacy for Social Change unit of the organisation Sheepa Hafiza, in her welcome address, presented its future plan and mentioned the activities that have been performed in last ten years.
Renowned personalities from different levels attended the event and enjoyed the cultural programme.
Renowned singer Fakir Alamgir and others performed at the cultural event.
