Brahmanbaria BKB holds performance review meeting

BRAHMANBARIA, May 25: Bangladesh Krishi Bank (BKB) held the performance review meeting of branch managers under the bank's Brahmanbaria region for the financial year 2009-10 at the premises of chief regional office in the district town Thursday.
BKB General Manager of the bank's Comilla Divisional Office Md Mosarof Hossain Chowdhury gave directives to the participants as the chief guest while inaugurating the meeting.
Deputy General Manager and Chief Regional Manager (CRM) of Brahmanbaria Anil Kumar Saha Roy presided over the conference and delivered the address of welcome.
BKB Comilla Divisional Audit Officer Md Abul Hossain was also present as special guest.
Among others, Assistant General Manager Md Abul Hossain, AGM and Regional Audit officer (RAU) Md Shahjahan and AGM Didarul Alam Chowdhury, AGM and Main Branch Manager Dilip Kumar Bhattacharya were also present on the occasion.
Twenty-seven branch managers and officials of Brahmanbaria region were present at the conference.
The meeting reviewed success and breakdown of performances against the business target of every region and branch achieved during last ten months of the financial year 2009-10.
In his inaugural speech, Mosarof Hossain laid emphasis on ensuring the banking services and developing working environment at all the branches. He suggested for increasing the loan disbursement to agro-based fields specially crop, hatchery, dairy and poultry, irrigation and farm machinery and import-oriented spices crops like chilli, turmeric, ginger, garlic, til, mustard, soybean etc and ordered to form the task-force led by regional audit officers to stop irregularities or corruptions in loan payment.
He stressed on further improving the overall performance of the bank and urged for increasing deposit, current loan and bank profit. Besides, the chief guest instructed the branch managers for recovering the total classified loan within June 30 next. All participants committed to recover the classified loan according to the general manager's instruction.
Md Abul Hossain advised all concerned to make concerted efforts with a view to achieving all business targets of the current financial year.
