Brahmanbaria HILIP-LGED holds progressive farmers\\\' exchange meet

BRAHMANBARIA, Dec 13: Haor Infrastructure and Livelihood Improvement Project (HILIP) under Local Government and Engineering Department (LGED) arranged a function of progressive farmers' exchange visit and knowledge sharing at Chatipara village of Gokarna union at Nasirnagar upazila in Brahmanbaria Thursday.
District fisheries officer (DFO) Brahmanbaria Agriculturist Md Nurul Islam attended the function as the chief guest while upazila project coordinator of HILIP-LGED at Nasirnagar unit Engineer Riadul Kuddus presided over the function and district project coordinator of HILIP-LGED at Brahmanbaria district Md Arman Rashid delivered the welcome address.
Among others, Upazila fisheries officer of Nasirnagar Agriculturist Md Tazirul Islam, journalist Md Jashim Uddin, upazila project coordinator of HILIP-LGED at Nabinagar unit Md Omar Faroque, Community Research Management Coordinator of HILIP-LGED at Habiganj Md Zarhad, fish cultivator of Nasirnagar Kalo Dev, fish cultivator of Habiganj Mohan Miah, fish cultivator of Nabinagar Md Helal Miah, social worker Shamimul Hoque were also present and delivered speech at the function.
HILIP-LGED and Fisheries officials, fish cultivators from Brahmanbaria and Habiganj, common people of Chatipara Haor area, journalists of print and electronic media participated at the function. The function was coordinated and conducted by District monitoring & evaluation officer of HILIP-LGED at Brahmanbaria Md Harunur Rashid and Livelihood coordinator of HILIP-LGED Brahmanbaria Md Jakir Hossain.
