Bridegroom lands in jail for early marriage attempt

BRAHMANBARIA, Oct 05 (UNB): Twenty five-year old bridegroom was sentenced to one month jail term after he was caught red handed while attempting to marry a 13-year girl here at Bhatpara village in Sadar upazila on Friday.
The mobile court of Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer and Executive Magistrate Pankaj Barua awarded the punishment to Deen Islam, son of Aminul Islam.
