Bridge between Aftab Nagar and Meradia Bazar needed

The road connecting Rampura bridge to Demra staff quarter experiences heavy traffic flow, causing significant congestion. This issue leads to frequent and severe traffic jams, particularly during peak hours. Meanwhile, Aftab Nagar is emerging as a rapidly growing residential area in Dhaka city, but it lacks sufficient public transport options. In the light of this, a link bridge between Aftab Nagar and Meradia Bazar could effectively alleviate traffic congestion on the Rampura Bridge-Staff Quarter road while providing Aftab Nagar residents with improved access to public transportation for commuting within Dhaka city.
Vehicles travelling from Badda to the staff quarter could utilise this link bridge, diverting traffic away from the congested Rampura Bridge area. The authorities concerned are urged to consider this proposal and proceed with the construction of the link bridge between Aftab Nagar and Meradia Bazar.
