CSE for continuation of money whitening
Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) has made a set of demands including the reconsideration of the scope of whitening undisclosed money through capital market by individual taxpayers. Biden announces migration pact
US president Joe Biden unveiled a "new approach to managing migration" in Latin America on Friday, but observers said the measures were only the start of what was needed to address one of the hemisphere's most pressing problems. Bangladesh lose to Turkmenistan
Bangladesh lost 2-1 to upper-ranked Turkmenistan in their keenly contested 2nd Group E match of the AFC Asian Cup China 2023 Qualifiers at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil in Kuala Lumpur on Saturday. Apparel exports to US grow 65pc
The country's apparel exports to the US maintained a robust growth in terms of both value and volume during the first four months of 2022. The US imported readymade garment (RMG) items worth US$3.29 billion from Bangladesh during the period from January to April this year, marking a 65.08 per cent growth year-on-year, according to OTEXA, an affiliate of the US Department of Commerce.
