Stocks end nearly flat in seesaw trade
Stocks seesawed on Thursday, ending the week's last session nearly flat as investors booked quick gains from sector-specific issues. As investors were active from both sides of the trading fence, the turnover on the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) crossed 14.0 billion. Page 9

Waiver of duty on raw sugar import sought
Country's sugar refiners have sought waiver of existing regulatory duty (RD) on raw sugar import, aiming to keep the sweetener prices stable in the market. They also have sought introduction of specific duty, like the duty structure of the cement sector, on import of crude sugar. Page 20
