Core index sinks below 6100
Stocks witnessed yet another massive fall on Sunday, with the key index of the prime bourse sinking below 6,100-mark, as the jittery investors continued their sell-off to exit from the market. The market saw a sharp decline from the beginning of the session as panic-driven investors dumped their holdings amid fears over a possible economic depression in the coming months plunging below the 6,100-mark instantly. Parents, 6-yr-old girl die in Iowa shooting
A 9-year-old boy who was camping at an Iowa state park with his parents and 6-year-old sister survived a shooting that killed the rest of his family. The Iowa Department of Public Safety identified the victims as Tyler Schmidt, 42; his 42-year-old wife, Sarah Schmidt; and their 6-year-old daughter, Lula Schmidt, all of Cedar Falls, Iowa. Page 17
New T20 captain Sohan 'fearless'

Khulna fish export fetches Tk 29.21b
The government has earned Tk 29.21 billion (2,921 crore) through exporting 88.81 tonnes of frozen shrimp white fish from Khulna district in the fiscal year 2021-2022. Khulna district has produced more than 31,849 tonnes of fish against its demand. Page 19
