Brisk sale of electronics ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr in Khulna

KHULNA, July 21 (BSS): The city is witnessing a brisk sale of electronic goods including refrigerator and television in the markets ahead of the Eid-ul-Fitr.
Manufacturers and importers have already beefed up supplies of goods and are offering instant cash card discount and gifts keeping in mind customers' extra demand.
Motiar Rahman, manager of Best Electronics at KDA Avenue in the city told BSS, every day we are selling homemade and foreign brand electronic goods offering various discounts and reduction in prices.
He also said, "We are selling a good number of LED television, refrigerator and air conditioner as well as home appliances such as pressure cooker, curry cooker, washing machine, blender machine, food processor, induction oven and cloth dryer".
Shirina Akter, manager of LG Butterfly show room at Lower Jessore Road in the city told BSS, "Quality and cost-effectiveness are the main attraction of customers at their showroom". "Most of the customers are showing keen interest in LED television and refrigerator due to 3-month zero installment and 6 month replacement warrantee," she said.
Ibrahim Hossain, show room in-charge of Walton at city's Sher-e-Bangla Road area, said they have taken preparations to meet the additional demand for electronic goods of the customers during the days till Eid festival.
While visiting a number of showrooms of electronic goods in City's KDA Avenue today (Monday), this correspondent found customers are purchasing electronic goods local and foreign brands.
Md. Momrez Ali and Sohera Khatun, a couple of City's Iqbal Nagar area, expressed their satisfaction after purchasing a foreign brand 32 inches LED television.
"It was our dream to have an LED TV. It has been possible for us as our son sent money from Malaysia", they said.
Sheikh Didarul Alam, a teacher of city's Shaheed Sarwardy College, told BSS, I have bought home appliances as I got bonus and current month's salary this week.
