British Airways allows one extra bag with students

FE Report | Sunday, 8 June 2008

The students, traveling with British Airways, can now carry one extra bag free with them.

The airliner offered the facility to the students or the would-be students to start studies in the UK or USA.

Students travelling overseas to study no longer need to leave those 'favourite things behind' and can take that little bit extra of home in their suitcase using this special offer, a British Airways press release says.

Students flying with the airline between June 1 and November 30, 2008, can carry one extra bag weighing up to 23 kilogrammes free of charge. Bookings can be made via website ba.com or at local travel agent.

Paul Beech, British Airways Manager (Bangladesh) said, "We are aware how hard it is for students when they move away from home to study. With this amazing offer, students can now take those extra bits with them to remind them of home and help them settle in."

British Airways offers competitive fares from Bangladesh starting at USD 496 (one-way) to the UK and USD 744 (one-way) to USA in World Traveller cabin.

The airline offers a three-cabin, non-stop, full service flying experience with three flights a week from Bangladesh to London Heathrow.
