British citizen's body recovered in city

Police recovered the body of a British citizen from a residential hotel in the capital's Uttara area on Thursday. He was identified as Dugald Finlason (60).
A duty officer of Uttara East Police Station told the FE that on information police rushed to the first floor of Merino Hotel on the Road No 11 in Sector No. 4 and recovered the foreign national's body in morning in an unconscious state. He was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where the on-duty doctor declared him dead.
He came to Bangladesh as a tourist and had been staying at the hotel since Sept 20.
The dead body was kept at the DMCH for autopsy. The real cause of his death would be ascertained after the postmortem report, said the police official.
