British co to invest $13.255m in Adamjee EPZ

Exhibit Clothing Limited, a British company, will set up a garments manufacturing industry with an investment of about US$ 13.255 million in the Adamjee Export Processing Zone (EPZ).
In this connection, an agreement was signed between the Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA) and the Exhibit Clothing Limited at the BEPZA Complex in the city recently.
BEPZA General Manager (Investment Promotion) AZM Azizur Rahman and Exhibit Clothing Limited Chairman Munir Ahmed signed the lease agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.
Also present at the signing ceremony were BEPZA Member (Finance) AKM Mahbubur Rahman, General Manager (Security) Md Tawfiq-E-Elahi, Manager (Investment Promotion) Md Tanvir Hossain, Manager (Industrial Relations) Md Abdus Sobhan and Assistant Manager (Public Relations) Khadiza Parvin.
The 100 per cent foreign-owned company will produce all types of cloths for men, women and children.
The company will create employment opportunity for 4,042 Bangladeshi and 40 foreign nationals.
