British Council team calls on DU VC

Barbara Wickham, director of British Council in Bangladesh, called on Dhaka University (DU) vice-chancellor (VC) Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique at the latter's office Sunday, reports BSS.
During the meeting, they discussed matters of mutual interest, especially enhancing skill of the university students in writing and reading English. They also discussed undertaking joint collaborative programmes between DU and British Council on English Language Course for better access to higher education.
The DU VC thanked British Council director for her visit to the university and expressing keen interest in academic issues.
