Friday, 14 March 2008

FE Report
The British Council Teaching Centre announced the registration for the new term in 2008.
The council will run Young Learner English courses for children aged between 7 and 14 years; business English courses for students who need English for their careers; IELTS preparation courses for those planning to study or work abroad; and general English for those wanting to improve their English skills for all purposes.
The courses start on 22 March with registration between 13 -20 March.
Students will be offered membership to the Supported Open Learning Centre (SOLC), which is equipped with cutting-edge software and materials to improve all round English language skills.
We will continue offering ICT access for our students who want to make use of our self access electronic learning facilities.
The British Council is committed to developing the highest quality English language teaching in its language schools. All teachers are native speakers of English and are UK qualified and experienced teachers of English as a foreign language.
They attend weekly professional development training sessions which are delivered inhouse.
We also actively encourage and support our teachers to pursue additional, professional UK postgraduate courses of study.
