British firm donates purified water for cyclone victims

Some 45,000 litres purified water, supplied by British business firm Duncan Brothers in aid of the cyclone, was handed over to Bangladesh authorities in Dhaka Friday, reports UNB.
British High Commissioner to Bangladesh Anwar Choudhury handed over the consignment of purified water to Chief of General Staff of Bangladesh Army Major General Sina Ibn Jamali at the Tejgaon BAF helipad.
Managing director of Duncan Brothers (Bangladesh) Imran Ahmed and high military officials were present on the occasion, said an ISPR press release.
