Broadcast policy finalised

The draft of National Broadcast Policy 2014, for supervising and regulating the activities of television channels and radio stations, has been approved and will now be placed before the Cabinet. Based on this policy, an independent broadcast commission will also be formed to recommend for government licences for TV channels and radio stations.
