COMILLA, July 11 (BSS): Planning Minister A H M Mustafa Kamal Saturday said mutual brotherly ties are essential to reap the results of lower middle-income country.
"Bangladesh is now a lower middle-income country, but the people of the country would not get its full benefit until the opposition political parties leave unhealthy politics," he said while inaugurating ICT Fair at Comilla South Upazila complex as the chief guest.
The minister urged all political parties to divorce dirty, chaotic and unhealthy politics for the sake of the country's development.
"The indicators of economic development would propel the politics. So, now politics has to be used as the tool of economic development," opined Kamal.
The planning minister said all the people of the country have contributions in attaining the status of the lower middle-income country.
