Lowly Brothers Union Club forced Dhaka Abahani Limited to a 1-1 draw in the lone match of the Grameenphone Bangladesh Premier League at the Bangabandhu National Stadium Monday, reports UNB.
Nigerian forward Lucky Paul Otafe scored for Abahani in the first half while another Nigerian Adams Jankasha leveled the margin for Brothers Union in the 2nd half from a penalty.

Muktijoddha Sangsad KC dominates the league table securing full 12 points from four matches, while winless Brothers Union advanced to the 9th place collecting two points from four encounters.
In the day's match, Abahani came close to a score in the 7th minute but Ghanaian forward Twum Frank failed to beat onrushing Brothers goalie Uttam Barua, off a Awudu Ibrahim through pass
However, Nigerian booter Lucky Paul Otofe put Abahani ahead in the 25th minute by a nice shot from close, capitalizing on a through pass of defender Nasir from top of the box (1-0)
Brothers Union managed a good chance in the 39th minute but the Nigerian player Kingsley Chigozie sent the ball straight to the hands of Abahani goalie Shahidul Alam Sohel after entering the small box from left wing.
After the lemon break, Brothers Union put strong pressure on Abahani territory and rewarded with the equalizer in the 81st minute.
As their Nigerian forward Joshua Olalekan was brought down on the left edge of the danger zone, Brothers Union got the spot kick. Another Nigerian Adams Jankasha did no mistake in converting the penalty (1-1).
