Brothers to face Feni Soccer today

Brothers Union Club will face Soccer Club Feni in the first semifinal of the Modhumoti Bank Independence Cup Football scheduled to be held today (Tuesday) at the Bangabandhu National Stadium, reports BSS.
State-owned Bangladesh Television will telecast the match live that kicks off at 5:00 pm.
Earlier, Brothers Union Club confirmed their semifinal berth beating team Bangladesh Jute Mills Corporation (BJMC) by 2-1 goals while Soccer Club Feni upset defending champions Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra by 4-3 goals in penalty shootout, both their respective quarterfinal matches.
On the following day (Wednesday), Dhaka Abahani will take on their archrival Mohammedan Sporting Club in the second semifinal to be held at the same venue.
Earlier, on way to semifinal, the sky blue Dhanmondi 'outfit' Abahani Limited defeated Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club by 2-1 goals while Dhaka Mohammedan edged past Muktijoddha Sangsad Krira Chakra by a solitary goal in their respective quarterfinals matches.
