Brothers Union beat Rahmatganj 2-1

Brothers Union Club finally broke the deadlock when they came from behind to notch a 2-1 goals win over Rahmatganj MFS in the day's lone second phase match of the B League at the Bangabandhu National Stadium in the city here Wednesday, reports UNB.
With this result, Brothers Union secured 26 points while Rahmatganj MFS remained at 13 points, both playing 19 matches.
In the day's match, substitute Ashraful Quader Monju struck twice for the winners while Mohammad Mamun netted the lone goal for the losers, who led the first half 1-0.
Mamun put Rahmatganj MFS ahead in the 44th minute by a powerful angular shot from around 12 yards giving no chance to opponent custodian Anwarul Islam (1-0).
Monju restored parity for Brothers Union in the 70th minute with a placing shot from inside the danger zone capitalizing on a left wing Inani free kick (1-1).
Manju scored the match-winner for the 'all-orange' Gopibagh outfit with a header from inside the D-box off a Jalal close pass in the injury time (1-2).
Brothers Union got half a dozen real chances during the match in the slippery ground, but failed to convert any of those into goal.
