Brothers Union, Fortis FC register win

Brothers Union Club recorded their second win in the Bashundhara Group Bangladesh Premier League football defeating Chittagong Abahani Limited by 2-0 goals held at Bir Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Munshiganj on Friday, reports BSS.
In the day's match, Senegalese forward Cheikh Sene scored both the goals for Brothers union who led the first half by 1-0 goal.
Sene put Brothers Union Club ahead early in the 14th minute while after the resumption he sealed the victory scoring the second goal in the 90+1st minute of the match.
The day's win saw, the all orange Gopibagh out raise their tally with seven points from three matches while the port city team Chittagong Abahani Limited is yet to open their account also playing the same number of outings.
Brothers Union Club will play their next match against Rahmatganj Muslim and Friends Society on December 21 while Chittagong Abhani Limited will play against Fakirerpool Young Men's Club on the same day.
Earlier, Brothers Union Club beat Bangladesh Police Football Club by 2-1 goals in their league opening match and split point with Fortis FC playing to a 1-1 goal draw in their second match.
Chittagong Abahani Limited lost both their previous league matches. They went down 7-0 to holders Bashundhara Kings and suffered 2-0 defeat to old Dhaka outfit Rahmatganj Muslim and Friends Society.
Meanwhile, Forward Piash Ahmed Nova scored a brace as Fortis Football Club registered their first win in the Bashundhara Group Bangladesh Premier League football beating Fakirerpool Young Men's Club by 3-0 goals in a match held at Shaheed Barkat Stadium in Gazipur on Friday.
Apart from Nova's two goals in the match, Gambian forward Omar Sarr supported him with a lone goal for Fortis.
The match was locked goalless at the breather.
After the barren first half, Omar finally broke the deadlock scoring the first goal for Fortis in the 52nd minute while Nova doubled the lead scoring the second goal in the 57th minute.
He completed the winners' tally scoring his second and third goal for Fortis in the 85th minute of the match.
Fortis completely dominated the entire proceeding, especially in the second half, and notched their deserving victory on the day while Fakirerpool were totally off colored.
With this win, Fortis Football Club secured four points from three matches while Young Men's are yet to secure any points playing the same number of matches.
Fortis Football Club will play their next match against Dhaka Wanderers Club on December 21 while Fakirerpool will meet Chittagong Abahani Limited on the same day.
Earlier, Fortis lost their league opening match conceding 1-3 defeat to Rahmatganj Muslim and Friends Society but they hold Brothers Union Club playing out to a 1-1 goal draw in their second match.
Fakirerpool suffered 2-0 defeat to Abahani Limited Dhaka in their league opening match and went down a 1-4 to Bangladesh Police Football Club in their second match.
On Saturday, Dhaka Wanderers Club will play against Bangladesh Police Football Club at Shaheed Barkat Stadium in Gazipur, Mohammedan Sporting Club face their arch-rival Abahani Limited at Shaheed Dhirendranath Datta Stadium in Cumilla and Bashundhara Kings meet Rahmatganj Muslim and Friends Society at Bashundhara Kings arena.
