Brothers Union play goalless draw with Shuktara JS

Brothers Union Club split points with Shuktara Jubo Sangsad of Narayanganj in goalless draw in a match of Citycell Bangladesh League at the Bangabandhu National Stadium in the city Saturday, reports UNB.
With the day's tame draw, the "all-orange" Gopibagh outfit remained at 8th position securing 23 points while Shuktata JS is in 12th slot of the 13-team league with 17 points, both playing 23 matches.
In the other match, hosts Chittagong Mohammedan SC upset old horse Muktijoddha Sangsad KC by a solitary goal at the Chittagong MA Aziz Stadium Saturday afternoon.
Lamine Soumah of Guinea scored the match-winner for Chittagong Mohammedan in the injury time of the first half.
Chittagong Mohammedan secured 27 points to remain at 5th place while Muktijoddha SKC remained at 6th slot with 24 points, both from 23 outings.
Two mediocre teams Arambagh KS (23 points) and Rahmatganj MFS (20) will meet Sunday at 4:00 pm at the Bangabandhu National Stadium while bottom team Beanibazar SC of Sylhet (14) will take on lowly Chittagong Abahani (18) on the same day at 3:30 pm at the Sylhet Stadium.
