Brothers win over MSC

A brace by new signing foreign recruit Nkwocha Kingsley guided Brothers Union to a 3-1 goals victory over Mohammedan Sporting Club (MSC) in the lone match of the GrameenPhone Bangladesh League at the Bangabandhu National Stadium (BNS) in the city Wednesday, reports UNB.
With the day's result, Brothers Union moved to the 5th position in the league table with 22 points while Mohammedan SC slipped to 6th place securing 21 points, both playing 16 matches.
In the day's match, Kingsley put the all-orange Gopibagh outfit ahead in the 50th minute (1-0) with a placing shot from inside the danger zone off a back-heel pass by Tonmoy Hossain Toru (1-0).
Rwandan midfielder Amani restored the parity for Mohammedan SC in the 67th minute with a placing shot from inside the D-box giving no chance to Brothers goalie Raghu (1-1).
Danilo Rafael, the Brazilian defender of Brothers Union, continued his success against Mohammedan as he scored in the 80th minute with a header from inside the danger zone off a corner kick by compatriot Everton from right flank. (2-1)
Kingsley completed the Brothers Union tally in the stoppage time (92nd minute) with a header from vantage position after taking an angular cross from Everton (3-1).
Earlier, in the first leg, Brothers Union beat Mohammedan SC by 2-0 goals.
