BSC invites scholarship application

Bangladesh Scholarship Council (BSC) announced its 14th scholarship grant at the university level throughout the country for the year 2008-2009, reports UNB.
A total of 250 scholarships will be distributed at Tk 12,000 each. The major fields of study include medicine, engineering, agriculture, science and technology, commerce and humanities.
GPA 10 to 8.5 will be given first priority, said a press release.
Candidates must complete the application form provided by the BSC's website www.bscbd.org with two attested passport size photographs, attested copies of previous and current academic reports, a recommendation letter from the head of the department and parent's yearly income statement through proper authorities.
Applicants receiving other scholarship or any financial grant are not eligible to apply. A new application is also required for renewal of scholarship.
