BSCIC STARTS JAMDANI WEAVING TRAINING

Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC) Chairman Sanjay Kumar Bhowmik inaugurated a six-month training on Jamdani weaving as the chief guest at its Jamdani Shilpa Nagari in Tarab, Narayanganj, on Monday. Quamrun Naher Siddiqua, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Industries, attended the programme as a special guest. The training is aimed at eliminating child labour and developing the Jamdani industry.
