The government has taken an initiative to profile successful entrepreneurs who began their businesses first from the BSCIC industrial estates.

"We have already initiated the process to compile the success stories," Chairman of BSCIC Md Mostaque Hassan, ndc, told the FE.
He said that all the industrial estates at different districts have been asked to send the lists of entrepreneurs who registered a good success and earned a name and fame both locally and internationally.
A six-member committee, headed by BSCIC director (planning and research) had been working on the issue.
"We are already getting the lists from different BSCIC industrial estates," member secretary of the 'successful entrepreneurs lists preparing committee' Md Abdul Barik said.
He said the profiles will narrate how the entrepreneurs succeeded in their respective businesses and how many jobs they have created as well as their contributions to the development of the national economy.
Mr Barik said they will compile all success stories of the entrepreneurs in a book soon. The book will be distributed among the new entrepreneurs at BSCIC industrial estates and also other stakeholders so that they could take the good lessons of success stories of the country's leading industrialists.
He further said that Pran-RFL Group, Akij Group, BRB Cables, Square Pharmaceuticals of Square Group, Hamko Battery, Radiant Pharmaceuticals, Bio Pharmaceuticals, Fortune Shoes, Alim Agro Industries Ltd, Bogura Motors (Pvt) Ltd, City Lube Oil, Globe Group, Fulkoli Sweets, Bonoful Sweets, AR Flower and Food Ltd. and Rajshahi Silk Ltd. were among the successful entrepreneurs who had first started their businesses from BSCIC industrial estates at different places of the country.
