BSEC fines Falu Tk 10m

The Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) has fined BNP chief Khaleda Zia’s former political secretary Al Hajj Mosaddak Ali Falu Tk 10 million for capital market manipulation. The decision was taken at the SEC’s meeting on Wednesday. A media statement from the capital market regulator said they investigated the 2009-2010 debacle again as recommended by the probe committee headed by Khandker Ibrahim Khaled. One Golam Mostofa has been fined Tk 30m on the same charges, according to bdnews24.com.
