BSEC wants spl 20pc quota in all IPOs

The Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) on Tuesday decided to send a proposal to the Finance Ministry to extend the time for special 20 per cent quota in all IPOs for the affected small investors by one year till June 2015. The decision was taken at the commission’s meeting held with its chairman Prof Dr M Khairul Hossain in the chair. The small investors will enjoy a 20-per cent quota in all initial public offerings (IPOs) -- government and private -- to be issued till then. This is the second time the SEC has taken the decision to extend the time, according to a news agency.
