BSF detains Bangladeshi

Indian border security force BSF has detained a Bangladeshi at Baghadanga border in Maheshpur Upazila in Jhenaidah.
BGB 6 battalion director Lt Col SM Maniruzzaman said, “Detained Khairul Islam is the son of Bghadanga villager Nasir Uddin.
He ran into a BSF patrol about 600 yards away from the Baghadanga border inside India, in Kumirapara, Nadia, around 4:30 am, according to a news agency.
The BSF detained him with five cows at pillar number 60/88, Maniruzzaman said.
“At a company commander-level flag meeting held at 11 am, BGB wanted Khairul back, but the BSF said they already handed him over to the Hanshkhali Police Station in India,” he added.
Baghadanga BOP commander Nayek Subedar Yakub Ali led the BGB team while Ram Nagar BOP commander SI Satyandra Singh led the BSF team at the flag meeting.
