BSF kills Bangladeshi farmer

THAKURGAON, Dec 8 (UNB): Indian Border Security Force (BSF) shot dead a Bangladeshi farmer and injured another one at Bujrukh frontier in Haripur upazila early Saturday.
Sources said when some 8/10 farmers went near border pillar No 358 for harvesting, the BSF members of Khurka camp opened fire on them, killing Rezabul (40) on the spot and injuring Syedur Rahman (30).
BSF men dragged away the body of Rezabul while his companions managed to flee with the bullet-hit body of Sydur.
Injured Sydur was admitted to Rangpur Medical College Hospital.
Confirming the incident commander of 14 Riffles Battalion Major Sheikh Maniruzzaman said BDR strongly protested the incident to BSF.
