BSF kills one on Satkhira border

SATKHIRA, Jun 27 (UNB): A Bangladeshi cattle trader was shot dead by Indian Border Security Force (BSF) along Kakdanga border in Kolaroa Upazila Friday morning.

The dead was identified as Mithu (30), son of Abdur Razzak, of Gobindakati village in Sadar Upazila.

Local sources said BSF members of Tarali camp fired at Mithu when he was entering Bangladesh from the Indian territory with his cattle, leaving him dead on the spot.

They also said that the BSF men dragged away the body to the Indian territory.
