BSF kills two cattle-traders in Benapole

Two Bangladeshi cattle-traders were shot dead by Indian Border Security Force (BSF) on Sadipur frontier at Benapole early Sunday. The deceased were identified as Shah Alam (26), son of Modhu Morol, and Rubel (17), son of Khokon Biswas, of Sadipur village. Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) sources said, when the two youths were returning home with cattle from India through the Pota Post area, BSF troops of Jayantipur Camp fired on them, killing both of them on the spot. They later dragged the bodies into Indian territory. Tension has been prevailing along the border following the incident. With these two youths, five Bangladeshi cattle-traders were killed by BSF in last three days. — UNB
