BSF pick up 6 BD nationals from Sunamganj border

India's Border Security Force (BSF) personnel have arrest six Bangladesh nationals from Lauer Gorh border point in Sunamganj district. Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) officials said, the detention took place around 4pm on Sunday. The victims were workers who usually dig up and collect coals from rivers in frontier areas. They have been identified as Kala Miah, 19, Takir Hossain, 18, Jane Alam, 19, Md Mursalin, 18, Moktar Hossain, 20, and Mejbah Uddin, 35. BGB-8 Commander Lt Col Golam Mohiuddin said that BSF picked up the 6 and took them into custody when they crossed the border mistakenly while collecting coal from Jadukata River. Lt Col Mohiuddin said the BGB contacted the BSF to bring back the 6 Bangladeshis, according to bdnews24.com.
