BSF picks up Bangladeshi from Haripur border

Members of Indian Border Security Force (BSF) intruded into Bangladesh and picked up a youth from Haripur border in Thakurgaon district on Friday. The victim was identified as Kabirul Islam, 18, son of Motaleb Hossain of Deldangi village in Haripur upazila. Operational Officer of Thakurgaon BGB-30 Major Kazi Alamgir Hossain said the BSF troops of Kokradah camp caught Kabirul when he went near main border Pillar No 374 in Dharmagarh frontier village under the upazila for bringing cattle around 5am. A letter has been sent to the BSF asking for holding a flag meeting to return the Bangladeshi national, the BGB official said, according to UNB.
