BSF return 8 Bangladeshis

Eight Bangladeshis, arrested by Indian Border Security Force (BSF) recently on their way back home from India, returned through Satkhira border on Thursday. BSF handed over them to BGB after a flag meeting at zero point at Taluigachha frontier village at Satkhira Sadar Upazila. The returnees were identified as Samir Ali, 30, of South Phultala in Khulna district, his daughter Sumi Khatun, 8, son Sakib, 3, Kabir Sipahi, 40, of Kultala village in Bagerhat district, his brother Arif Hossain, 14, Chhamirun Nesa, 40, wife of Julfiker Ali of Dhamrail village in Paikgachha Upazila of Bagerhat district, her daughter Sania Khatun, 6, and Hira Sheikh, 26, wife of Kawsar Ali of Kotapara village in Jessore district. BSF personnel of Amudia camp arrested the eight while they were returning to the country from India illegally, said Taluigachha BGB Company Commander Sheikh Foyez Uddin of Satkhira-38 BGB. A case was filed under the Passport Act, according to UNB.
